About Us
KESAS Sdn Bhd was formed in September 1993 to finance, design, construct, operate,
maintain
and collect toll for the Lebuh Raya Shah Alam (LSA) for 28
years and 9 months.
Lebuh Raya Shah Alam was constructed in 1993. It was divided into 2 phases that is Package A
and Package B with a total length of 34.5 km. Package A (from Sri Petaling to Seafield interchange linking
KLIA - 17 km) was opened to traffic in December 1996 about 4 months ahead of schedule. Package
B (from Seafield interchange to Pandamaran interchange - 17.5 km) was opened to traffic in April 1998
as scheduled.
KESAS is managed by highly skilled, experienced and professional personnel who
are
trained in
various disciplines. It has a proven track record for the Built, Operate and
Transfer (BOT) of
LSA
and was accredited and awarded the prestigious MS ISO 9002:1994 quality management system
on
1 February
2000
for the management and operations of the LSA.
The certification was upgraded to MS ISO 9001:2000 on 1 February 2004.
